These websites are run by The University of Chichester (Multi) Academy Trust. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- Zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible this website is

Technical information about this website's accessibility
The University of Chichester (Multi) Academy Trust is committed to making its websites accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Compliance status
These websites are partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliance(s) or the exemptions listed below.
Non-Accessible Content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Non-text content
Some images do not have a text alternative, so people using a screen reader cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 Non-text Content.
We plan to add text alternatives for all images used in the content areas by September 2025. When we publish new content, we will make sure our use of images meets accessibility standards.
Info and relationships
Some contact forms contain required fields, but these do not fully meet the required level of instruction or description. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 Info and Relationships.
We plan to update the contact form templates in the next design update.
Contrast minimum
Some text content and menu links do not meet the minimum contrast ratio, so people with low vision may struggle to distinguish and read the page content. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum).
We plan to review and update the colour scheme in the next design update.
Text spacing
Some page content may contain overlapping text. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.12 Text Spacing.
We plan to review and update the stylesheet in the next design update.
Pause, stop, hide
It is not possible to pause, stop or hide any animated content such as the hero slideshow in the page header. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.2.2 Pause, Stop, Hide.
We plan to review the usage of such animated elements in the next design update.
Bypass blocks
There is no method provided to skip the repeated content in the page header, such as a "skip to main content link". People using a screen reader will have to repeatedly scroll past the page header on every page. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.4.1 Bypass Blocks.
We plan to implement a method to enable users to skip to the main content in the next design update.
Error suggestion
The contact form does not provide any error suggestions when an invalid input is submitted. People with learning disabilities, impaired vision or impaired motion may take longer to understand the error and how to complete the form successfully. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 3.3.3 Error Suggestion.
We plan to review the capability of the contact form system with the development team to enable error suggestions to be displayed in the next design update.
Content that is not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
PDF and other documents
The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they are not essential to providing our services.
Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards.
Live video
We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.
